Buddhism as we know it started with Siddhartha Gautama, who came to be known as the Buddha which means enlightened. The Voice of the Silence by HP Blavatsky says “Look inward thou art Buddha. It means that we are all Buddha or enlightened- we just have to wake up and realise it. This talks looks at the basic teachings of Buddhism and also it’s relationship with Theosophy, HPB and the Masters.
Wayne Gatfield is President of the Bolton Lodge of the Theosophical Society in England, Joint Vice President of the North Western Federation, National Speaker, editor of the North Western Federation Journal.
He also writes for various Theosophical magazines including the Theosophist and Hermes online magazine. He also writes poetry and fantasy stories and has published books on Kindle and paperback. Wayne also has his own YouTube channel on which he has several recorded talks as well as his own poetry and contributes articles to several Theosophy related Facebook pages.
