The Genius of Theosophy, its Compassion and Rigour
A zoom talk by Will Windham of the United Lodge of Theosophists

Sunday 10th May – 6pm UK Time

William Q Judge wrote that while Theosophy may be unfathomable in its deepest parts, yet its shores are shallow enough not to overwhelm a child. The talk will explore its dual teaching of Compassion and Rigour, the dauntless search for Truth mellowed by a benevolent love for all Beings.

HPB, whose life we celebrate on 8th May, showed this to be part of an ancient, occult and universal discipline, present all throughout the great spiritual heritage of humanity, whose fresh appreciation she initiated, which has been sowing seeds in society during the 150 years of its devoted study.

Will Windham was born in Dublin, lived in Wicklow, Cheshire, and the Welsh borders, and was educated in Scotland. Soon after arriving in London he found the United Lodge of Theosophists and has studied the Perennial Wisdom with them since then. He left systems engineering on TfL projects in 2014 and now lives in Paddington. His interests include education and reform, poetry and exploring sacred springs.
